Nºthing Better

Olivier Theyskens curated the most beautiful issue of any magazine I've ever seen (and the only version of it I've ever come across).  The NºABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ bi-annual bible of beautiful things was born in the mind of Walter Van Beirendonck - one of the Antwerp Six - for the Mode 2001 Landed-Geland Project, a five month Flemish style festival. Theyskens provided the vision for NºD for March 2003 - which included this incredible, ingenious selection of beauty product spreads.
The illustrations by Emmy Mees.

Those NºD charts, in turn, inspired me to interpret the interpretation as the invite for my 25th birthday party on my aunt's old, amazing rooftop in Tribeca. My acquisitions and Holiday Shopping Guide charts are an even lazier iteration.
